I had a nose filler. Does it prevent rhinoplasty surgery?

Patients with nose filler can also be operated on.

However, all effects of the filler must have completely passed before this surgery.

Otherwise, the procedures applied during surgery may lead to undesirable results after the filler disappears.

For a patient with nose filler to have surgery, the filler must either be melted before surgery begins, or wait until the filler has no effect left (1.5-2 years).

💉 Filler Dissolving Procedure

If surgery will be performed in the first 1-year period after filler, or if more time has passed but the filler effect still continues, a filler dissolving procedure must absolutely be done before surgery.

This procedure is done with a medication named Hyaluronidase. (an injection is made to the nose)

It is preferably recommended to be dissolved up to 1 week before surgery. However, the dissolving process can also be applied during surgery. (This procedure incurs additional cost.)

Sometimes even if the filler is dissolved, it may take time for some issues on the nasal skin to heal and become suitable for surgery.
