When can I return to work or school? Is a rest report issued?

Resting is very important for your body to bounce back after surgery:

  • Resting period: 7 days (1 week) of general rest is recommended.
  • Heavy jobs: should not be done for 1 month.
  • Protection: You must protect your nose from the risk of physical trauma for 6 months.
⚠️ Important: If you want a medical rest report, you must let us know during the discharge process (at the latest before leaving the hospital). Your report is valid from the date it is written.

💼 Return to Work Life

As of the day the silicone nasal splint and cast are removed, it is free for you to return to your job professionally, go to school or exams, and participate in social activities.

⚠️ If you must do desk jobs or work in front of a computer screen, you can also work in the first week while you have a silicone nasal splint and cast on your nose. However, if possible, our recommendation is to spend the first week completely resting.
