When can I sleep on my side?

Your sleep position after surgery is critically important for both faster reduction of edema on your face and to prevent accidental pressure on your nose.

🛌
First 14 Days: Supine and Upright

During this period, you must sleep on your back and, if possible, using a double pillow so your head is slightly elevated above your chest. This position helps edema subside much more quickly.

🔄
From the 2nd Week: Side Sleeping

From the 2nd week, you can turn on your side in bed. But the most important rule is; while sleeping, your nose must never touch the pillow or the bed, and must not be subjected to any force or pressure.

💡 A Quick Tip: U-shaped neck pillows, also used on planes, can prevent you from involuntarily turning completely left or right in your sleep, making this process much safer and more comfortable in the first days.
