Is it normal for the nasal tip to sometimes swell and subside (vary from day to day)?

Yes, this is a very natural part of the healing process. While tissues are healing after surgery, fluctuations in your body's fluid balance may occur.

• In the Morning and Heat: Swelling (edema) at the tip of the nose may be more prominent due to increased blood flow and the effect of gravity.
• As the Day Progresses and in the Cool: You can notice the swelling subsiding gradually during the day.

These fluctuations are seen more frequently in the first months, and as the healing process completes (especially after the 6th month) and your nose settles into its final shape, these differences will disappear.
